Our Nepalese friends invited us to join their celebration of Tahir - specifically the day of the dog puja. Dogs are honored as guardians of people - they are fed special food and given a blessing. Hazel really enjoyed the food!

Here the dogs are receiving the traditional blessing from Amma (Radhika's mom).
Radhika is feeding the dogs their special treat - bananas, apples, and grapes.
